Andrew offers counseling services to teenagers, adults, and couples, through a bio-psychosocial approach which focuses on the whole person, including their environment and background. He utilizes a therapeutic approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and seeks to provide an environment focused on listening and empathy. Andrew is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Counseling and Criminal Justice from Grace College and is fulfilling his internship hours to complete his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grace College. Andrew has previously provided counseling services at Oakland Hills Counseling and Insight Counseling Services. His experience also includes over two years of providing support to mentally disabled adults in a group home setting. Through his time providing counseling services, Andrew has had the opportunity to help clients navigate through grief, relational distress, anxiety, and depression. His experience at the group home allowed him many opportunities to develop the care and empathy that are at the forefront of his interactions with clients during counseling sessions.

Andrew’s empathetic and calm approach with clients allows them to discover their strengths and empowers them to improve their physical and mental health. He promotes strong client-counselor rapport through a non-judgmental and supportive approach. Andrew believes that every client possesses the ability to make the necessary changes to achieve their goals and desires.
