Angilean works with adolescents 16+, men and women of all ages providing individual therapy, group therapy with an emphasis on self-awareness, emotional regulation, and coping skills. Angilean treats people who experience symptoms of substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, life adjustment difficulties, stress management, mood disorders, and career concerns.
Education and Experience
Angilean is a Limited License Master Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies from Sienna University and her Master’s in Social Work degree from Walden University. Angilean has a rich background as an entrepreneur, a substitute schoolteacher, and church ministry leadership. As a social worker, Angilean has experience providing treatment to at-risk youth, men and women in substance abuse residential treatment, sexual abuse survivors, and domestic abuse survivors in out-patient treatment. Angilean is well versed in assisting people with living lives of choice and finding a path to peace and joy through a variety of modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Christian Focused Therapy.
