LYNDSEY R. SLEEK-RISTICH, LMSW

Lyndsey has 15 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults in various out-
patient and community settings, with extensive experience working with at-risk youth and their
families. Lyndsey has experience in providing individual and family therapy. Her passion and
specialty lie in working with women and families navigating the unique waves that arise during
the perinatal period, beginning with pregnancy and beyond. Lyndsey’s passion for this specialty
arises out of a personal experience of fertility and loss, and first-time motherhood during the
height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lyndsey’s goal is to foster a safe and supportive space where
clients can explore their thoughts and feelings and develop coping strategies to manage all that
can arise during the parenthood journey.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Lyndsey received her Bachelor of Social Work from Ferris State University and her Master of
Social work from Wayne State University with a concentration in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
(CBT). Lyndsey has completed specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health, Mental Health
Fist Aid, Structured Sensory Interventions, Children of Trauma & Resilience, Trauma Informed
Care, and Trauma Informed Yoga.

Lyndsey works collaboratively with clients to develop a personalized plan to address their
unique needs and goals. Lyndsey uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-
Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused
Brief Therapy (SFBT). Lyndsey is committed to providing non-judgmental and compassionate
care to her clients and strives to create a therapeutic environment that promotes healing,
growth, and resilience.
