JULIANNE M. FITTONNEVILLE, MA, LPC

Julianne works with men and women of all ages. She specializes in working with young adults who are navigating the post-high school and post-college seasons of life. Julianne also works effectively with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. Her experience includes addressing emotional distress arising from shame, relationship problems, undesired singleness, existential or spiritual uncertainties, and difficulties stemming from childhood abuse or trauma.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Julianne is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan. She completed her Bachelors and Masters in Counseling Psychology at Rochester College and Moody Theological Seminary-Michigan, respectively. Julianne has completed training in Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman method for couples therapy, and training in Psychological and Spiritual First Aid. JulianneĀ has training in Polyvagal Theory which can be helpful in assisting clients in developing greater awareness of the mind-body connection. Julianne is a registered out-of-state telehealth provider with the state of Florida (http://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/).

She uses an integrated approach designed to consider each individualā€™s needs, incorporating methods such as cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, existential, and psychodynamic therapies. Julianne also offers Biblical integration for those who wish to include that component in their treatment.
