JULIANNE M. SABO, MA, LLPC

Julianne works with men and women of all ages. She specializes in working with young adults who are navigating the post-high school and post-college seasons of life. Julianne also works effectively with adolescent girls experiencing depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. Her experience includes addressing emotional distress arising from shame, relationship problems, undesired singleness, existential or spiritual uncertainties, and difficulties stemming from childhood abuse or trauma.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Julianne is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan. She completed her Bachelors and Masters in Counseling Psychology at Rochester College and Moody Theological Seminary-Michigan, respectively. She has received training from Open Hearts Ministries in Trauma-Focused Narrative Therapy that she integrates with other approaches in assisting adult individuals to find healing and freedom from past wounds, including childhood physical and sexual abuse. Julianne has completed training in Levels 1 and 2 of the Gottman method for couples therapy, and training in Psychological and Spiritual First Aid.

Julianne is passionate about being a part of the growth and healing process that can occur through therapy, and has a heart to see people thrive within restored relationships and restored sense of self. She uses an integrated approach designed to consider each individual’s needs, incorporating methods such as cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, existential, and psychodynamic therapies. Julianne also offers Biblical integration for those who wish to include that component in their treatment.
