Ewa provides psychotherapy to adolescents (beginning at age 13), individual adults, and couples in relationship counseling. Ewa is able to offer a unique integrative blend of approaches including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Treatment. Ewa speaks Polish and Russian and offers a culturally sensitive and strength based therapeutic environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Ewa is a fully Licensed Master Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Ewa studied Pedagogy and Teaching at University of Opole in Poland prior to earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Wayne State University. She has 15 years of professional and clinical experience working as a therapist and a clinical supervisor in residential treatment centers and out-patient mental health clinics. Ewa has specialties in treatment co-occurring disorders, substance abuse, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety.

Ewa strives to help clients realize they can do anything they set their minds to. She provides support, encouragement, guidance and coaching to assist patients in developing insights, ideas, and solutions. Her goal is to help patients develop the skills and tools that will work best for their individual needs, assisting patients in identifying negative behavior patterns and changing thought processes. Ewa offers her clients a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment in which to explore difficulties and challenges they may be experiencing.
