Dr. Rusniak has more than 25 years of professional experience serving as a clinical therapist, school psychologist, consultant, and workshop presenter. She has provided leadership in Oakland County schools, developing effective programs and services for students with behavioral challenges, and providing training for school personnel.
Education and Experience
Dr. Rusniak earned her doctoral degree in Clinical and Educational Psychology from Wayne State University in 2001 and is a fully licensed psychologist. Dr. Rusniak completed her dissertation work in “Goal Orientation as it Relates to Multidimensional Self-Concept of Middle School Students.”
Dr. Rusniak provides professional workshop training in Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Management Strategies, Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavioral Intervention Plans, serves as a District and County facilitator for Student Problem Solving and provides training in Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention. Dr. Rusniak works effectively with individuals and families managing difficult life circumstances and relationships.
